Tiffin & Selective Grammars

I prepared my own children for Tiffin Boys and Tiffin Girls and they are both enjoying KS3 at these schools.

I want all children to be happy at their secondary school, so I tutor Tiffin applicants if there is a fair chance that the school will be a good fit for them. Whether they are given a place or not, I want the preparation and assessment to be a very positive experience for each child and I ask parents to share that approach.

When I have availability of places, I offer an initial short chat with parents. Where suitable, a preliminary assessment of the child may be offered with feedback. This helps to ensure a team approach and positive experience for children.

Preparation for the first and second round in English and maths is principally offered via small group (3 or fewer) online tuition. In limited circumstances, I may be able to offer one-to-one online tuition.

Year 6 - limited availability for one-to-one only

Year 5 - small group bookings now open for September start

Year 4 - no availability before October
